Who is your favorite game show host of all time?

Hmm... I don't really care much for game shows or their hosts to be honest. But if I were to pick one, I guess it'd be Alex Trebek. He's just the most memorable to me. Jeopardy was a show that I watched with my Dad. We'd always try to figure out the "questions" and keep score of what we got right.

What is your preferred method of transportation for trips over a couple of hours and why?

If its a couple of hours, then by car. Srsly. Yes, it takes longer but it's cheaper than flying by air and you get to take in the scenery on the way to your destination. No waiting at the airport, no crowds (germtastic!), etc. I suppose I just like that fact that on a road trip, we're not trying to rush from one place to another... we take our time and enjoy the open road.

Where do you go for advice?

My dad. :) He is thee wisest and smartest person I know!

There is a natural disaster headed your way. You get 4 standard sized canvas grocery totes to fill with valuables and provisions to bring with you to a safe place. What would you put into your 4 bags and why?

1st bag: Important documents, money, and jewelry of value -- for identification and money is just in case
2nd bag: non-perishable food & water bottles -- Duh!
3rd bag: standard survival kit (flashlights, batteries, first aide, etc) -- Another Duh!
4th bag: laptops, external harddrives -- because of photos of my children

I'd also wear layers of clothing since I only have 4 bags. I could use our clean underwear as padding in between items in the bags. Not kidding!

Now what else am I forgetting?

I am a farmer who raise ducks and cows. The animals have a total of 9 heads and 26 feet. How many ducks and cows do I have?

I don't shop anymore. I think in the past half a year, I've adopted my husband's philosophy of the simple life. Don't get me wrong, I still like having my tech toys, but I'm not so obsessed w/ buying materials as a "treat". It's mostly food I crave. lol.

How are you celebrating the 4th of July?

We hosted a BBQ at our house w/ friends. I asked everyone to bring 1 dish and was extremely surprised that they brought 2+. We had sooo much food! Even after giving some away, we have plenty for leftovers which is awesome. Leftovers = no cooking. lol.

Afterwards, we all headed to the golf course and set up our blankets on the green. The kids ran around in the dark before the fireworks began. So cute. This year's display was kind of weak, but the kids loved it. I think I might have gotten a good shot or two. Haven't dumped the photos yet, so not sure.

We headed back home and hung out, chatted and played on the Wii until midnight. All in all, a really great day.

15 minutes? I've actually never timed myself. Sometimes I like to take long baths, but I'm sure those last about 30 minutes.

It allows me to chronicle about life. Also a good tool for venting about my frustrations. I could just do a paper journal, but it's nice to get input from others.
